Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, a strong safety mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality electrical solutions. Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in both commercial and industrial environments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.
  • Conduct testing with instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, including frame carpenters and other trades, to coordinate project timelines and requirements.
  • Perform low voltage and high voltage electrical work on construction sites while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, NEC standards, schematics, and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools like drills; and testing instruments including ohmmeters and ammeters.
  • Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
  • Familiarity with framing carpentry is a plus for integrated construction tasks involving electrical components.
  • Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
