Electrician

Job Summary

Electrical Contractor based in New Jersey, performing work in New Jersey and NYC seeing to employ reliable electricians for a permanent long term position. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of electrical wiring.

Duties

• Perform all work dispatched with little to no supervision in residential environments dealing with home owners.
• Must be willing work independently and with others.
• Perform all work dispatched with little to no supervision in commercial environments dealing with home owners.
• Must communicate daily to management, updating on all details regarding ongoing work and day to day operations.
• Must maintain schedule on all dispatched work and projects that ate assigned to applicant.
• Must perform all work to NEC code maintaining proper craftsmanship at all times.
• Must perform work in a neat and organized manner.
• Responsible to maintain truck inventory, organization and maintenance.

Skills

• Commercial and residential electrician experience working on medium to large-scale commercial projects or building renovations, service, maintenance etc.
• Proficiency with low voltage wiring systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools , power tools and all equipment needed to perform electrical work safely and efficiently.
• Experience with construction site environments including safety practices and project coordination
• Extensive knowledge of NEC standards and requirements for residential, commercial, and industrial wiring installations
• Handyman/ construction experience a plus.
• conduit bending and installation experience
• troubleshooting skills a must
• Generator installation and service experience.
• Service call experience

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
