The Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role involving day-to-day reactive and planned electrical works across residential and commercial properties.

You will be expected to work independently, represent the company professionally, and carry out all works safely and to a high standard, in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and repairs
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently
• Complete EICRs, minor works, and remedial actions where required
• Install and maintain lighting, power, sockets, and consumer units
• Carry out emergency and reactive maintenance call-outs
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Work within occupied properties while maintaining a professional and respectful manner
• Accurately report completed works and identify any additional issues on site
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools and test equipment
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

Desirable (but not essential)

• Testing and Inspection qualification
• Experience working with landlords and letting agents
• Knowledge of both domestic and commercial electrical systems
