Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.

Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or safety hazards.

Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.

Install and connect circuit breakers, transformers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems.

Test electrical systems using appropriate testing devices and instruments.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns when required.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical certificate, diploma, or apprenticeship in Electrical Technology.

Proven experience as an Electrician.

Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems.

Knowledge of motor controls, generators, and electrical panels.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
