ELECTRICIAN

  • Installing Electrical Systems: Running conduit, pulling wiring, and installing fixtures, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and transformers based on technical diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairing: Using testing devices (such as multimeters and ammeters) to locate electrical malfunctions, diagnose problems, and safely replace damaged wires or faulty equipment.
  • Reading Blueprints: Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and building plans to lay out and execute electrical layouts.
  • Code Compliance: Ensuring all electrical work and installations strictly comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building and safety regulations.
  • Routine Maintenance: Inspecting electrical components and systems regularly to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal, safe operation.
  • Project Management: Estimating labor and material costs, managing inventory, and coordinating with other contractors or architects on job sites.
  • Supervising Apprentices: Training, mentoring, and overseeing apprentice electricians to ensure safety standards and job requirements are met.
