ELECTRICIAN (6 YEARS EXPERIENCE-DUBAI WORK EXPERIENCE)

1. Installation Work

• Install electrical wiring, conduits, trunking, and cable trays
• Install distribution boards, panels, circuit breakers, and switches
• Install lighting fixtures, sockets, and control systems
• Connect motors, generators, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts

2. Maintenance & Repairs

• Inspect electrical systems for faults and hazards
• Troubleshoot power failures and short circuits
• Repair or replace damaged wiring and components
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems

3. Testing & Inspection

• Test circuits using multimeters and testing devices
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage tests
• Ensure installations comply with electrical codes and standards
• Prepare systems for inspection and commissioning

4. Safety Responsibilities

• Follow electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout systems
• Use appropriate PPE (gloves, insulated tools, safety boots)
• Identify and report electrical hazards
• Ensure proper grounding and bonding

5. Tools & Equipment Handling

• Use hand and power tools safely
• Operate testing equipment and measuring instruments
• Maintain tools in good working condition

6. Coordination & Communication

• Work with engineers, supervisors, and other trades
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical and civil teams
• Report progress and issues to supervisors

7. Documentation

• Record daily work activities
• Track materials used
• Report faults and completed tasks
