Job Summary
The Electrician will handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair works within the steel factory. The role requires strong experience in industrial electrical systems and the ability to work safely in heavy-duty operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on machines, panels, motors, and factory equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues such as wiring faults, motor failures, and control system malfunctions.
- Install electrical components including cables, switches, breakers, and lighting systems.
- Assist engineers in testing, commissioning, and inspection activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial environments, preferably steel plants or factories.
- Strong hands-on experience with motors, panels, MCCs, and industrial wiring.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot circuits.
- Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature factory areas.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, and during breakdowns.
