Electrician - EV Chargepoint Installer

Due to continued expansion and huge demand for electric vehicle charge points, Evolution Solutions are looking for experienced electricians to join our team, with excellent pay and company benefits.

The huge demand for electric vehicles is driving growth in the electric vehicle charge point installation market, which is set to continue for decades to come.

And to support this continued growth, we are looking for high quality electricians to join our team, to manage and carry out domestic and workplace electric vehicle charge point installations in your local area.

The role will be varied in nature, and due to the growth of the company would suit ambitious electricians who want to progress their careers.

Your day to day responsibilities?

· Installing charging points from different manufacturers

· Attending domestic and commercial locations

· Fault fixing

· Doing customer handovers showing app set up

· Asking for reviews and referrals

· Keeping your van, tools, uniform and stock neat and tidy

· Attending HQ team meetings to contribute ideas for making us better

The ideal candidate…

To excel in this role, you will be proactive, flexible and organised, as well as being great at working on your own. You will need to have excellent timekeeping and problem solving skills, high attention to detail, and be responsible for your own tools and materials. You will also be completing customer handovers after the installations, so good interpersonal and communication skills comes in handy.

Our perfect candidate will also have the following skills:

✔ 12 Months Charge point installation experience

✔ 18th edition qualified

✔ Time served

✔ C&G 2391 certified testing & inspecting preferred (but not essential)

✔ Experienced in working on domestic and commercial installations

✔ Experienced of fault finding on electrical installations

✔ Flexible in your working hours

✔ Willingness to learn new technology and comfortable using apps in tablets and smartphones.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £39,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
