Electrician for solar installations

Job title: Electrician

Salary: £92,000

Encore Home Improvements Ltd is looking for an experienced electrician who has battery and PV certificates to join our growing team.

This role will involve solar installs as well as other electrical work across our wider home improvement projects. We need someone who is confident on the tools, understands compliance properly, and can take responsibility for the technical side of the business moving forward.

We are looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable and professional who takes pride in their work, communicates well and wants to be part of a long-term setup as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation work safely and to a high standard
• Working on solar installations, including the electrical side of PV and battery systems
• Supporting electrical work across other home improvement and property projects
• Inspecting, testing and certifying completed work
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations
• Diagnosing faults and resolving issues efficiently
• Keeping paperwork, certificates and job records organised and up to date
• Communicating clearly with the office and site teams regarding job progress and any issues
• Supporting the ongoing growth of the electrical and solar side of the business

Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician
• Up-to-date knowledge of current wiring regulations and testing procedures
• Experience in inspection, testing and certification
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Good understanding of compliance and electrical safety
• Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence and access to a van
• Solar and battery installation experience preferred, but not essential
• Be comfortable to manage a team of electrician
