Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrician to join our Bristol Hub team. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical aspects of installing Solar PV systems and Battery Storage solutions. Ensuring all electrical installations are completed to the highest safety and quality standards, in line with MCS guidelines and BS7671 regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission solar PV and battery storage systems (domestic and commercial).
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with industry standards (BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations).
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of solar PV and battery systems.
• Maintain and manage certification, testing documentation, and compliance records.
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, conducting risk assessments where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Experience installing domestic and/or commercial Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• ECS Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
• Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems (C&G 2922-34 or equivalent)
• Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (C&G 2923-34 or equivalent)

Salary will be depending on experience– with plenty of opportunity to grow your career in the Renewables Sector. We offer structured salary progression, starting at £37,000 basic up to £45,000 for QS Level.
