Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Electricians to join our Exeter Installation and Maintenance Hub team. You will be responsible for the electrical aspects of installing Solar PV and Battery Storage solutions. Ensuring all electrical installations are completed to the highest safety and quality standards, in line with MCS guidelines and BS7671 regulations. Experience of Solar & Storage is not essential, a great attitude and desire to do a great job for our customers is.

Key Responsibilities

• Enjoy your work and contribute to the team.
• Install, test, and commission Solar PV and Battery Storage systems (domestic and commercial).
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with industry standards (BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, MCS Requirements).
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
• Maintain and manage certification, testing documentation, and compliance records.
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, conducting risk assessments where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A great attitude and desire to do a great job for our customers.

Desirable

• ECS Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
• Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems (C&G 2922-34 or equivalent)
• Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (C&G 2923-34 or equivalent)

Starting salary will be dependant on experience as personal development is important at Naked Solar – plenty of opportunities to grow your career in an expanding company. We offer structured salary progression, starting at £37,000 basic up to £45,000 for QS Levels.
