Electrician (full time)

Electrician – Full Time Job | Aberdeen

AKA Innovations is an established electrical contractor delivering both residential and commercial projects across Aberdeen. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on a long-term, self-employed basis.

About you:

- Experienced in electrical installations (domestic and/or commercial)
- Confident working independently while maintaining high standards
- Reliable, organised, and a good communicator
- Own tools and transport preferred

Key responsibilities:

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components
- Reading and working from electrical drawings, layouts, and cable schedules
- Testing, inspection, and fault finding including EIC and EICR
- Ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and health & safety regulations
- Completing documentation and reports accurately
- Liaising with site management regarding progress and any site matters

Requirements:

- ECS or CSCS card (preferred)
- Strong practical experience including testing and inspection
- 18th Edition (City & Guilds BS 7671) – highly desirable
- Own hand tools
- Full UK driving licence – beneficial
