Electrician – General Electrical & Solar Works

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to perform general electrical works and solar system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with residential, commercial, and renewable energy electrical systems, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Carry out installations and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, batteries, and associated components.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical and solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is compliant with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with project teams to complete installations on time and within budget.
• Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including test results and service records.
• Assist with procurement of electrical materials and tools as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician, with knowledge of general electrical works and solar system installation.
• Certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience with DC and AC circuits, solar inverters, and battery systems.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Valid electrical license (if required by local regulations).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale solar PV projects.
• Familiarity with hybrid energy systems and energy storage solutions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
