We are a Premier Generac Dealer servicing the greater Charlotte area since 1996 and have a new opportunity for an electrician with generator installation and sales experience. Job Summary
The Generator Installation & Sales Electrician is responsible for completing generator quotes for customers, installing new generators, and following up through completion of all assigned projects. This leader is expected to following all electrical code standards and safety procedures to ensure quality work, meet inspection requirements, and complete projects efficiently.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Two years experience as an electrician (helper positions do not qualify)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous Generac technician training a plus, but not required
• Experience with Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of the National Electrical Code
• Must supply your own basic hand tools
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass drug/background check

Job Responsibilities:

• Install residential generators, automatic transfer switches, and accessories
• Use estimating tools and in-home consultation visit to document install requirements
• Travel to different worksites as needed to meet with homeowners or contractors
• Create quotes for residential standby generators and close sales opportunities
• Own all communication and follow-up for assigned projects from start to finish
• Ensure that installations are accurate, serviceable, and meet code requirements
• Dig Trenches for underground wires or cables
• Perform generator start-up operations for customer orientations
• Maintain company provided vehicle
• Maintain and organize parts inventory on truck
• Basic computer skills for use with email, purchase orders, quotes, work orders, etc.
• Be able to climb ladders, bend, lift, stoop and crawl

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Multiple Locations

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
