Electrician / Generator Service Technician

The skillset for this position includes:

• Experience as a residential electrician in a customer-service environment
• Ability to install piping systems (metallic and non-metallic)
• Knowledge of small engine maintenance and repairs
• Use of hand tools and test instruments

Our team members perform commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs on optional standby generators and other outdoor power equipment to maximize safe operation and life-cycle of equipment, including:

• Diagnose cause of problems using diagnostic software, technical manuals, and interacting with manufacturers support staff
• Complete startup, activation of warranty, and hands-on operating instructions
• Provide preventative maintenance of equipment to assure all mechanical and electrical components are to manufacturers specifications
• Assure all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer's installation instructions are met
• Complete all logs, reports, and work orders for new installations, service calls, and warranties
• Perform all other assigned job-related duties

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
