Electrician - Heavy Vehicle

Key Responsibility Areas

· Well known experience in an auto electric job (harness design, how to read electrical diagram, color code & wire identification, knowledge of all kinds of ECU and function) in European Trucks.

· Complete knowledge of DAS, V- CAD and MAN-CATS electronic tools operating and adjust parameter given by manufacturer

· Repair all control units, engine ecu, gear ecu, lighting ecu, etc.

· Repair all electrical components in the vehicle.

· Basic training in the Telligent system for the new drivers.

· Awareness to clear vehicles from roadside (breakdown).

· Number of repairs done per day (Job Cards Opened)

· Delay in repairing

· Number of repairs done per day

· Number of spare parts used per day

· Number of delays in diagnosing the problem

· Quality of Work

· Safety of Machines & Tools

Competencies

· Proven experience as an electrician

· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

· Knowledge of Electrical Faults & Diagnostic Basis.

· Knowledge of Troubleshooting Devices & how to operate them

· Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems

· Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

· Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines

· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability

· Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
