Electrician Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic construction and electrical installation team. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various project sites. Duties

• Support licensed electricians by preparing work areas, handling tools, and organizing materials for electrical installations.
• Assist with pulling wire, conduit bending, and installing electrical components according to schematics and blueprints.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, strip, and connect wires and electrical parts.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate installation.
• Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters to identify electrical issues under supervision.

Skills

• Prior experience working as an electrician helper or in construction site environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and power tools like drills and saws.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts including low voltage, high voltage, NEC standards, schematics, and blueprints reading.
• Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Experience with construction or framing carpentry is a plus for supporting structural aspects of installations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from licensed electricians.
