Job Summary

The Electrician Helper assists licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position supports daily job site operations by preparing materials, using tools and equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment while learning the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist electricians with electrical installations and repairs

Pull wire, bend conduit, and install basic electrical components

Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment

Prepare and clean work areas before and after projects

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations

Load and unload materials and supplies

Read and follow basic blueprints and instructions

Support electricians with troubleshooting and maintenance tasks

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic construction or labor experience preferred

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work well with others and follow directions

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when needed
