Job Summary:

The Sr. Remodeling Specialist-Electrical is a pivotal member of the electrical team. This role is responsible for intermediate electrical service and installation tasks. The Sr. Remodeling Specialist-Electrical will play an important role in providing electrical services to remodeling projects, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within KCBR.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Skilled Electrical: Perform intermediate skilled electrical rough-in and finish work with minimal supervision on majority of KCBR projects, constantly improving skill sets.
  • Communication: Communicate with client regarding trade specific questions. Communicate regularly with skilled craftsmen, designers, project coordinators, and project directors regarding job-related needs such as materials, installation and budget.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance to teammates and serve as a mentor to less skilled team members.
  • Problem Solving: Identify trade related issues and develop solutions on the job as they arise without input from management.
  • Efficiency and Organization: Plan work steps to minimize re-work and ensure efficient use of materials and resources. Complete scope of work within outlined project boundaries and budget. Proficient use of Buildertrend software for day-to-day documentation and communication.
  • Standards Adherence: Demonstrate an adept understanding of KCBR policies, standards and procedures. Lead by example and reinforce the KCBR Way among team members. Address inconsistencies in scope of work and assist in pricing and executing change orders.
  • Tool Proficiency: Maintain proficiency with standard hand tools and equipment. Ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary tools and training.

Required Skills and Abilities:

· High School diploma.

· 3-5 years of electrical work in the areas of remodeling, service or installation.

· Ability to work independently.

· Proficiency in utilizing Buildertrend for day-to-day operations including scheduling, change orders, and client communication (within first 3 months).

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with a sense of humor and engaging demeanor.

· Ability to work independently and multi-tassk in a fast-paced environment.

· Willingness to contribute to process improvements and see them through.

· Strong critical thinking skills to solve problems considering time, scope, and budget of projects.

· Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Success Measurements:

· Attendance and Reliability – Excellent attendance and reliable transportation to job sites.

· Project Performance - Consistently performs quality work and completes assigned jobs on time, within scope, and in accordance with projected costs, minimizing setbacks and re-work. Forward thinking to create efficiencies within scope of work.

· Client Satisfaction – Receives consistently high scores on client satisfaction surveys.

· Communication – Effectively communicates with clients, management, and team members, solving problems constructively and proactively. Responsible for daily reports with detailed notes to PD, keeping them informed of any schedule or material impacts and maintaining project schedules. Demonstrates a sense of urgency to keep projects on schedule.

· Planning and Organization – Regular development of daily work plans and resource management of tools, materials and supplies to ensure efficient and effective job site organization. Minimal material reorder and trade rework.

· Buildertrend Proficiency – Proficiently uses Buildertrend and ensures accurate input of information needed. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of KCBR phases and ensures adherence to company procedures and standards throughout the project. Consistently publishes daily logs with informative information on the project.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to move around and inspect all areas of job sites, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.

· Occasional lifting and transporting of materials up to 100lbs.

· Travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
