Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrician Lead / Apprentice to join our team and help us deliver exceptional electrical solutions across various construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse industrial and commercial electrical systems, from blueprint reading to installation and troubleshooting. As an Electrician Lead / Apprentice, you will be instrumental in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site while gaining valuable hands-on experience or leading electrical teams. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on construction sites, including industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute electrical layouts.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring, conduit installation, and panel setups.
  • Conduct testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
  • Assist or lead teams in troubleshooting low voltage and high voltage electrical issues with precision.
  • Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of high voltage systems and adherence to construction site safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades like frame carpentry to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is highly preferred; entry-level apprentices with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and basic construction practices.
  • Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
