Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Residential Electrician Apprentice with hands-on residential experience to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an apprentice who is confident working on residential electrical systems, eager to continue learning, and committed to producing high-quality work.

You will work under the supervision of licensed electricians while independently handling many standard residential tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
• Rough-in and trim-out wiring for new construction and remodels
• Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and panels
• Troubleshoot residential electrical issues and perform repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials

Requirements

• Enrolled in or eligible for a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program (preferred)
• Solid understanding of residential wiring methods and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and ladders
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
