Electrician (Maintenance)

An Electrical Maintenance Technician/Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industries, commercial buildings, or factories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Work on panels, motors, transformers, breakers, and wiring systems
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Ensure safety standards and electrical regulations are followed
  • Maintain maintenance logs and reports
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment

  • LT/HT panels
  • Motors (AC/DC)
  • Transformers
  • DG sets
  • UPS systems
  • Switchgears and circuit breakers
  • PLC panels (basic knowledge in industries)

Required Qualification

  • ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical
  • B.Tech (for Engineer roles)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety
  • Experience: 1–5 years (depends on role)
