The Role

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Renewables Electrician to support installations and commissioning of a range of renewable technologies and domestic electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical installation and commissioning of:
• Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
• Solar PV systems
• Battery storage (desirable)
• Mechanical ventilation systems
• General domestic electrical works (e.g. socket extensions, spurs, upgrades)
• Testing, inspecting, and certifying completed works to NICEIC standards
• Working safely and respectfully in occupied homes
• Completing all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation
• Liaising with site supervisors and retrofit teams

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• 2391 / 2394/95 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
• Valid UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality
• Positive attitude and customer-friendly approach
• Experience with renewable systems (ASHP, Solar PV, etc.)
• Familiarity with retrofit schemes (PAS 2030 / PAS 2035)
