Electrician - (Talent Pooling)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to be based in Abyei-Sudan , preferably an Egyptian national, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems operating on both alternating and direct current circuits across our client’s regional camps and forward operating bases. This role requires ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall mission success of our client and RA International through expert execution of electrical tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, including generators, transformers, appliances, panels, switches, meters, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure all installations adhere to electrical codes and safety standards.
• Execute precise wiring techniques for proper functioning and safety.
• Perform regular maintenance of electrical systems to ensure continuous operation, including servicing panels, switches, meters, circuit breakers, and other components.
• Repair or refurbish motors and other electrical/electronic controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and repair a wide range of electrical apparatus, including switchboards, panels, lighting, household appliances, and more.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, and direct digital control systems, including fire and security alarm systems and associated electronic equipment.
• Ensure precise wiring and connection for proper communication and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of all systems installed, maintained, and repaired to aid in future maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and submit technical reports as required.
• Operate specialized equipment used for electrical construction, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Adhere to all relevant electrical codes and standards to ensure compliance and prevent hazards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of a wide range of electrical installation hand and power tools for various tasks.
• Perform tasks in alignment with the instructions outlined in the Technical Order (TO), ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Evaluate each site to ensure readiness for electrical installations, maintenance, or repairs, considering factors such as accessibility and safety measures.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• High school diploma with vocational training and trade certificate; certified license in electrical.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in the electrical field.
