Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring all work complies with safety standards, project specifications, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Perform electrical installations for residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction staff to complete projects on time.
• Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company procedures.
• Document work, maintain service records, and prepare progress reports as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in construction (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical tools, testing devices, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry tools/materials as needed.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on active construction sites.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.
