We are seeking a skilled and professional Electrician with a strong background in landscape installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor electrical systems, including lighting, irrigation controls, and power supply for landscape features. This role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently or as part of a team to ensure safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing installations that meet both electrical codes and landscaping standards.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Install wiring systems, lighting, power outlets, and control systems.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
  • Identify potential hazards or faults and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Replace damaged or outdated wiring and components.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices.
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, fuses, and fixtures.
  • Ensure systems operate safely and efficiently after repairs.
  • Ensure installations meet safety standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation for inspections and maintenance records.
  • Work with engineers, contractors, and building inspectors.
  • Provide cost estimates and timelines for projects.
  • Train or supervise junior electricians or apprentices.
  • Set up electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and distribution systems.
  • Connect electrical systems to main power supplies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 10–12).
  • 3–5 years of on-the-job training under a licensed electrician.
  • Must hold a valid electrical license issued by a local or national authority (requirements vary by country).
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Technical or vocational training in electrical systems.
  • Diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license.
