We are seeking a skilled Electro‑Mechanical Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and production efficiency in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities·
- Devising solutions for electrical and mechanical problems to manufacturing equipment with highly complicated components.
- Performing electrical and mechanical repairs to manufacturing equipment with automated components.
- Troubleshooting the breakdown of overlapping engineering systems and applications to assist with repairing sophisticated manufacturing equipment in an industrial production facility. Equipment. These systems include but are not limited to:
- Electrical control systems.
- Automated vision inspection systems; and
- Correct compound applications.
- Ensuring the execution and improvement of the preventive maintenance through regular performance testing of electro-mechanical components and other constituent engineering systems and applications.
- Testing equipment performance and recalibrating individual and systemic components to meet Giorgio Foods Inc. and industry Quality Standards.
- Complying with all safety procedures, addressing any safety concerns, and upholding industry and Company standards for Good Manufacturing Practices; and documenting all repairs and accounting for all tools, parts, and housekeeping.
- Navigating computer software systems in order to troubleshoot specific issues with PLCs, electronic devices and variable frequency drives VFDs.
Qualification
- Requires a technical school or associate degree in Electromechanical or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 2 years of experience as an Electro-mechanical Technician or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
- Hands on experience troubleshooting and resolving issues involving electrical, mechanical, and methodical systems.
