Electro-Mechanical Technician (New West Milwaukee Facility)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, US

Hourly Pay Range: $27.00 to $44.80 plus $5/hr shift differential

Schedule: Fulltime 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift schedules available

Where you’ll work…

• Located in West Milwaukee, our third and newest 210,000 square foot, state of the industry baking facility
• Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operation is adding another baking line that will produce best in class crust for our delicious pizza production.
• Our Maintenance Team contributes to Palermo’s success by ensuring that our Plant operates at a world-class level with production uptimes over 98%

What you’ll do…

• Support our production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.
• Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programable devices.

• Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines.
• Utilizing knowledge from your 6+ years’ experience with mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair to facilitate seamless production functionality to deliver daily production goals.
• Organized and methodical approach to problem solving – often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where accuracy is critical.
• Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.
