Electrologist

Ober Yahr Electrolysis (OYE) is the leading provider of permanent hair removal services through electrolysis in Pittsburgh. We pride ourselves on helping individuals from all walks of life boost their self-confidence by achieving a hair-free appearance. We are looking for a dedicated and open-minded Electrologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of empowering our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrolysis procedures to permanently remove unwanted hair from various body areas.
• Assess clients' hair removal needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to optimize results.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Keep accurate records of client sessions and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in electrolysis.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations and guidelines related to electrolysis procedures.

Qualifications:

• An active cosmetology or esthetician license.
• No prior experience in electrolysis is required; we offer comprehensive training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and open-minded attitude towards clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Availability to work evenings and most Saturdays.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
• Professionalism and a positive, client-focused demeanor.
