Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electronic systems for robotic applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded systems, sensors, motor controllers, and PCB design for robotics projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electronic circuits for robotic systems (sensors, actuators, power management).
- Integrate microcontrollers, embedded processors, and communication modules (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).
- Develop firmware for controlling motors, sensors, and robotic subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and debug electronics, including PCB layouts and prototype boards.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate electronic systems with overall robot design.
- Optimize power consumption, signal integrity, and reliability of robotic electronics.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality practices for robotics applications.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in electronics, robotics, and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
- 4+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or embedded electronics design.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar).
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD).
- Knowledge of sensor integration (IMU, LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic, etc.).
- Familiarity with motor drivers, ESCs, servos, and actuator systems.
- Experience with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of robotics standards, safety, and regulations is a plus.
