We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Technician to join our team and help deliver high-quality installations and service to our customers.

Position Summary

The Lead Security Technician will be responsible for leading installation teams, servicing integrated security systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work directly with customers, project managers, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and service projects for:
• Access Control Systems
• Video Surveillance (CCTV)
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Intercom Systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and project specifications.
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and security devices.
• Program and commission security systems.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain project documentation and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and customer requirements.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing and servicing commercial security systems.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience leading installation crews.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.

Preferred

• Experience with Genetec, LenelS2, Software House CCURE, Avigilon, Milestone, Axis, or similar platforms.
• Low-voltage or security industry certifications.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Networking knowledge and IP-based security systems experience.

Compensation

Range $27.00 - $38.00

Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
