Electronics Quoting and Customer Service Specialist

Position:

Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing manufacturer of electronic assemblies requires an Electronics Sales and Quoting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales team in strengthening and growing existing customer accounts through daily follow-ups and issue resolution
• Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and service

Collaborate with Sales, Quoting, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to develop accurate quotes, including labor, process, and component costs

• Compile and finalize quotations for customer submission
• Learn and understand manufacturing processes to support quoting accuracy
• Utilize ERP systems for:

- Shipping and expedite coordination

- Order entry and tracking

- Customer returns and shipment updates

• Manage customer communications via phone and email, routing inquiries as needed
• Update and maintain sales opportunity tracking systems

Qualifications & Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship (due to government-related work)
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Customer service and/or quoting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing; PCB knowledge is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self- motivated and directed to achieve assigned goals
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Z-AXIS Inc. provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include LED drivers, sensing and measurement devices, laser drivers, machine controls, and electronic medical devices. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand. We are centrally located between Rochester and Syracuse in upstate NY. We own our modern 32,000-square-foot design and manufacturing center and we are ISO9001:2015 certified. Z-AXIS has over 90 employees working in a single shift.
