Electronics Technician

The Electronics Technician is responsible for assembling and supporting the production of electronic hardware including printed circuit boards, cable harnesses, box builds, and component rack systems. This role works from technical drawings and schematics to build, test, troubleshoot, and repair assemblies while ensuring all work meets engineering documentation and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic hardware including printed circuit boards, cable harnesses, box builds, and component rack systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting of assemblies
  • Repair and rework assemblies as required to meet specifications
  • Verify completed assemblies meet drawings, BOMs, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineering to support prototype builds and product improvements
  • Follow established manufacturing processes and support process improvements
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, FOD-compliant work area

Minimum Previous Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on electronics assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a production environment

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift (Monday – Thursday) with overtime opportunities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
