Certified Transmission is looking to add an electronics technician to our valve body & solenoid department. What to expect as an electronics technician:
- Monday–Friday schedule — no nights or weekends
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (45 hours per week)

Duties of the electronics technician include:
- Efficiently disassemble solenoid cores to prepare for inspection and cleaning
- Inspect parts for wear, damage, or other issues and dispose of problematic parts properly
- Clean all parts carefully, ensuring they are free from contaminants for the remanufacturing process.
- Make sure all parts are thoroughly cleaned and contaminant-free before remanufacturing
- Reassemble the solenoid or TCM core using specified parts that meet company standards and specifications
- Test electronic components using testing equipment according to company specifications
- Report any problems found during testing for resolution
- Prepare completed solenoids for the next step in the process or shipment
- Record all production activities as required
- Keep your work area organized and free from clutter
- Perform regular maintenance on test machines, such as fluid/filter changes and adding fluid when necessary
Preferred requirements of the electronics technician:
- Experience in electronics, diagnostics, testing, troubleshooting, manufacturing, automotive technology, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, computer systems, or a related technical field
- Ability to use testing equipment, diagnostic tools, multimeters, or similar instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Technical training, military experience, industry certifications, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent hands-on experience are all valued
- Automotive electronics experience is a plus but not required
