We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to support the development, testing, and documentation of advanced EV, hybrid, and related systems.

Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in building and testing prototype electronics and vehicle systems. You’ll support PCB assembly and repair, electronics troubleshooting, test bench setup, and documentation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced prototyping environment and collaborating closely with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test prototype and production electronics systems, including PCBs, wire harnesses, and subassemblies
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on electronics assemblies and PCBs
  • Support engineering test bench setups, including instrumentation, wiring, and data acquisition
  • Document build processes, test results, and troubleshooting steps
  • Assist in the development and refinement of test procedures and work instructions
  • Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on design and manufacturability
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure safe working practices
  • Support occasional field testing and validation activities

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or technical certificate in electronics or related field required
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training highly preferred
  • Relevant advanced education and/or experience highly preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, testing, or repair
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Proficient with soldering (including SMT), rework, and basic hand tools
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
  • Experience with high-voltage systems or EV components is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
