Electron.js Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electron.js Developer to design and build cross-platform desktop applications. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to deliver seamless, high-performance applications that integrate web technologies with native desktop features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.js.
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services into the application.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and security for desktop environments (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Implement native OS-level features (file system access, notifications, system tray, etc.).
• Maintain application versioning, packaging, and auto-update mechanisms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Electron.js in building desktop applications.
• Familiarity with desktop app packaging and deployment tools (electron-builder, electron-forge).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices for desktop applications.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cross-platform development (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Prior work on applications involving real-time communication, offline-first design, or system integrations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Electron.js or desktop application development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
