Elementary Art Teacher – (FTE 1.0)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Art (LX) endorsement required
• Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
• Strong communication, technology, and organizational skills
• Competency in student management and supervision
• Competency in the content area of K-5 curriculum
• Flexibility and ability to teach in either a traditional or online format
• Competency in student management and supervision

Essential Functions:

• Plan, prepare and implement instruction and assessments
• Attention to the social emotional individual needs of students
• Effective use of instructional strategies, materials, resources and interventions for all students
• Planning and organization of instruction for the benefit of all students
• Conduct that serves as models for students and colleagues

Workday/Week:
Monday – Friday

Per WEA Master Agreement
