Behavior Educational And Skills Training Teacher

Summary

The Behavior Educational and Skills Training (BEST) Teacher provides specialized instruction and behavioral support for K–4 students who require assistance developing appropriate social, emotional, and behavioral skills to succeed in the general education environment. This position focuses on proactive behavior intervention, individualized academic instruction, and collaboration with staff, families, and support services to promote student success.

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field; teaching certification is required.

Master’s Degree (MA) preferred.

Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Valid Arizona Teaching certificate – Special education certification preferred but not required.
