Elementary Classroom Teacher – Long Term Substitute

Central Elementary School, K-4, is seeking an energetic, creative, and dedicated teacher, beginning in February 2026. We are looking for a team player who places childrens needs first. CES is a close-knit school community with skilled teachers who are keen on perpetually growing as professionals.The qualified candidate has a deep understanding of best practices in child development and has experience teaching reading and writing skills. We are seeking a candidate with excellent classroom management skills including a practice of Responsive Classroom strategies to build a community of learners.

A Vermont educators license Level I or Level II with elementary education endorsement is required.Individuals should apply via School Spring and include a letter of interest, a resume, evidence of Vermont certification, transcript(s) of degree(s), and three current letters of reference.
