Elementary Math Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to engage students in the subject matter effectively.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
• Provide early intervention support for students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts.
• Mentor students, fostering their academic growth and encouraging a love for mathematics.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school environment.
• Strong skills in literacy education and lesson planning, demonstrating the ability to integrate literacy into mathematics instruction.
• Proficiency in using learning technology tools to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Experience in behavior management techniques that promote positive classroom dynamics.
• Excellent written communication skills for lesson documentation, reporting, and parent communication.
• A commitment to mentoring students and supporting their overall development.

Pay: $57,500.00 - $59,769.00 per year
