Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Elementary Math Teacher role, located at our campus in Euless, TX. We have a 4 Day Instructional week (Monday-Thusday, with the first Friday of the month reserved for professional learning/planning).


The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, effective math lessons grounded in real-world, nature-integrative educational practices. Daily tasks include lesson planning, teaching mathematics concepts, developing curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Teachers will collaborate with fellow educators to align lessons with Treetops’ mission of learning through nature while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
  • Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create engaging and innovative learning experiences.
  • Certification as a Qualified Teacher, with a focus on elementary education or equivalent credentials.
  • Ability to incorporate nature-based learning into educational practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
  • Experience working in an outdoor or experiential learning environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
