Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for elementary, middle, or high school students
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavior management techniques
• Assess student understanding through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing evaluations
• Provide individualized tutoring and academic advising to support students’ unique learning requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to enhance educational programs and address student challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant field; teaching certification
• Proven classroom experience with children across various age groups; private school experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners while maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their academic growth and social-emotional well-being

Pay: $30,240.00 - $33,600.00 per year
