Raymond Central offers a competitive package, recognizing years of service for salary credit. First year teachers begin at Step 3, with a starting salary of $45,252.00, plus additional compensation for advanced education. The district also covers the cost for all tiers of health insurance through the Educators Health Alliance.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited college or university
• A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate
• Good human relations skills
• Ability to work with students, staff, administration, and parents
• Excellent skills in oral and written communication
• Reports to work as scheduled on a punctual and reliable basis
• Maintains an atmosphere conducive to learning
• Exhibits skills pertinent to foster positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents and the community
• Utilizes a variety of positive supports for the students in their physical and social development
• Remains current about best practices in the physical education field
• Engages in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job related knowledge and skill development
• Works collaboratively to achieve the overall purpose of the school’s program and support the District’s vision, aims and goals
