Elementary Piano Teacher

Make a real difference in students' success! Firefly Tutors, established since 2004, is seeking passionate individuals for a fun, flexible, and rewarding part-time tutoring role.

Firefly Tutors is hiring a Piano Teacher to provide in-person piano lessons for elementary school-aged student!

This is a year-round position for the 25/26 school year and beyond!

IN-HOME / IN-PERSON lessons ONLY

Private Piano Instructor needed in Huntington Beach CA, 92647 and surrounding areas (IN-PERSON ONLY)

MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some EARLY AFTERNOOONS throughout the week, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 25/26 school year

Ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Engaging, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
• Versed in classical piano instruction
• At least 1-2 years of experience working with students

OTHER ACADEMIC SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASES EARNING POTENTIAL

Responsibilities

• Provide individual tutoring in piano to enhance student understanding and performance
• Identify how students learn best
• Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs
• Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth

Pay is $35 per hour

1-10 hours per week, Part-time only

In-home piano instruction only
