Elementary School Teacher

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate teacher to join our team at Living Water Christian Academy. The teacher will be responsible for teaching and nurturing students in multiple grade levels, while also integrating Christian principles and values into their lessons. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and student assessment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students in multiple grade levels, while ensuring alignment with the school's curriculum and Christian values.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs, abilities, and learning styles.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning, growth, and development.
-Attend periodic parent / family nights.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administrators, and participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community, and act as a role model for Christian values and principles.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a multi-grade level setting, preferably in a Christian Private School.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and student assessment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate Christian principles and values into teaching and classroom management practices.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
