Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a positive, engaging classroom environment. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote critical thinking, creativity, and active participation.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, clear expectations, and behavior management strategies.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who need extra help, including those with special education needs or on the autism spectrum.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and address any learning or behavioral challenges.
- Incorporate early childhood education principles to enhance student engagement and independence.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, lesson plans, and student progress reports.
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages positive social interactions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in either public or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools such as educational software, digital resources, and library services for young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while maintaining high standards of behavior management.
- Background in early childhood education or childhood development coursework or certification is desirable.

Pay: $53,700.00 - $93,400.00 per year
