Best Brains of Ashburn is an established enrichment and academic learning center serving students since 2011. We provide structured instruction, homework support, enrichment learning, and skill-building programs for elementary school students in a positive, organized, and student-focused environment.

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and motivated Elementary School Teacher who enjoys working with children and can help students build confidence in core academic skills.

Job Responsibilities

The teacher will be responsible for:

• Teaching elementary school students in small group settings
• Supporting students with Math, English, Reading, and Writing concepts
• Helping students complete assigned classwork and practice materials
• Providing homework support when needed
• Encouraging students to stay focused, organized, and confident
• Monitoring student progress and identifying areas where additional support is needed
• Maintaining a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicating student progress or concerns to the center management team
• Following the center’s curriculum, teaching structure, and classroom expectations

• Passionate about teaching elementary school children
• Patient, kind, and able to manage young learners effectively
• Strong in basic Math, Reading, Writing, and English concepts
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working in a structured learning center environment
• Able to explain concepts clearly and simply
• Positive, energetic, and student-friendly

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include:

• Prior teaching, tutoring, or classroom experience
• Experience working with elementary school students
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Education major, retired teachers, substitute teachers, and college students with teaching experience are welcome to apply

Schedule:

Part-time schedule available during after-school and evening hours.

Specific days and hours can be discussed based on availability and center needs.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
