Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and library services.
- Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through conflict management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and academic advising to support individual growth.
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches when appropriate to promote holistic childhood development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support early childhood education initiatives and provide tailored tutoring or instructional support for struggling learners.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience in elementary education within private or public school settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for early childhood or preschool students.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and literacy education best practices.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services or Toddler care.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom efficiently while fostering a positive environment conducive to learning.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or elementary teaching credentials; additional qualifications in behavior management or Montessori methods are advantageous. Pay: $30,000.00 - $56,166.82 per year
