Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 2–3 and 4–5 within a Christ-centered learning environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for grades 2–3 and 4–5, integrating Biblical principles and a Christian worldview across all subject areas.
- Create a positive, Christ-centered classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, collaboration, respect, and spiritual growth through effective classroom and behavior management.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students with diverse learning needs, including those with deficit areas like reading or math skills
- Integrate literacy education, math instruction, social studies, science, art, physical education, and library services into daily lessons to promote well-rounded development while pointing students to God as the source of truth and wisdom.
- Model and mentor students in Christ-like behavior, fostering social-emotional growth, Biblical character development, and accountability.
- Lead or participate in prayer, devotionals, and faith-based discussions appropriate for the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and administrative tasks, contributing to a unified Christian educational mission.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and spiritual development, building strong home-school partnerships rooted in shared values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching certification or ability to qualify for a permanent, nontax certificate for elementary grades required.
- A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to teach and model a Biblical worldview in both instruction and relationships.
- Proven classroom experience working with children in grades 2–3 or 4–5 within private or public school settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention strategies, and familiarity with Wilson Reading, Ufli, or other specialized educational approaches preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Experience working with individuals with special education or supportive reading strategies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools used for teaching and assessment purposes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor students from diverse backgrounds while upholding Christian values.
- Ability to confidently manage classroom behavior while fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-centered environment.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
