Elementary School Teacher - Christian School

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students, focusing on their academic, social, and spiritual development. This role requires a commitment to nurturing young minds and promoting a love for learning through innovative teaching methods and personalized instruction.

Duties

• Implement lesson plans that align with Abeka curriculum standards, focusing on a Biblical worldview and a Christ-centered education.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a sense of community.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Mentor students in their academic journey, providing guidance in their spiritual and academic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in education administration tasks to improve school programs.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student needs, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

• A relationship with Jesus Christ and consistently fellowshipping with a church.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience working with elementary school students is highly desirable.
• Facilitating lesson plans to ensure clarity in instructional materials and communication.
• Knowledge of classroom management and effective teaching strategies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Familiarity with Abeka curriculum is a plus but not mandatory.
• A passion for fostering a Christ-centered environment and supportive of a faith based education.
